Depth and focus.
The berries in the front are clear and situated in the corner using the method of rule of thirds. The tree vanishes more and more the further you look at. I think I captured the given assignment, depth and focus, really well. ¨

This photo was taken in an old cotton factory generation building. The hole is framing the light, you can see how it gets through the hole and lights up the floor on the other side. First I thought that light can't be framed but I think it really works in this picture. The roughness of the concrete and the softness of the light make a powerful combination.

I took this portrait right before the chef in the picture opened his own restaurant. The light falls on his face making him look peaceful (when his was anything but). I think it's a good shot. The composition works really well and the background is blurred, so it doesn't take attention away from the man.
